One of the Nation's Premier College Marching Bands
The University of Arizona “Pride of Arizona” Marching Band is the largest and one of the most exciting, visible, and involved student groups on the University of Arizona campus. With a long and rich tradition of excellence, “The Pride” entertains thousands of fans each year at Arizona football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and IceCats hockey games, with an expanded audience in the millions through nationally televised events and a large social media following. The band has appeared at Bands of America regionals, Arizona State Marching Festivals, annual Band Day festivals, Disneyland, and even the very first Super Bowl (1967).
Advantages of Joining
Perform at every Arizona home football game, with occasional travel to away games and qualifying bowl games
Participate (by audition) in the Pep Band, performing at Arizona men’s and women’s basketball games, volleyball, and IceCats hockey games, with travel to qualifying regional and national men’s and women’s basketball championships
Play powerful, custom-arranged music while marching innovative, challenging, and original drill
